While in recent days it has been reported in various media that Spain is (largely) partly 'red' again on the official corona map of Europe, we would like to inform you concretely about the travel options that you prefer as a Spain-like person.

It is very important that we make a clear distinction within the travel options between 'travel to' and 'returnfrom' the country of Spain.

Travel to Spain

If you travel by plane or by sea, you must fill in a form and submit it (digitally). sign and this within 48 hours before your arrival in Spain. Specifically, it concerns the Spain Travel Health document, which you can consult via this website: https://www.spth.gob.es. After you have completed and signed the document, you will receive a QR code, which will be shown on arrival in Spain. will have to be. Don't forget that you have to fill out a separate form for each trip and each person traveling! The obligation to fill in this document also applies to children, regardless of age.

In addition to the obligation to request the QR code mentioned above, you will also receive -if you start the journey from a 'red zone' colored for Spain- negative PCR result, negative rapid test result or anantigen test should be presented upon arrival in the country of Spain. In this case, the (negative) results will also have to be entered on the questionnaire in order to generate the QR code. Flanders and Wallonia are currently 'green' zones for the country of Spain, which means that if you start your journey from one of these two regions, you do not have to submit any of the above results. Important: the Brussels Capital Region is still a red zone!

For people who have already been  fully vaccinated, it is not necessary to submit any of the above (negative) results, but they will need a proof of complete vaccinationand the dates of vaccinations should also be entered in the Spain Tavel Health document to generate the QR code. It is important to mention here that the obligation to submit one of the above-mentioned tests only expires in the event of complete vaccination, if you have had your last vaccine/vaccination at least 14 days before your departure!

Traveling from Spain to Belgium

In case you are fully vaccinatedandstartingthereturnto Belgium, youdonot havetoondertakeanyconcrete on arrival. from a green or orange zone. If you are traveling back from a (dark) red zone, you will either be required to present a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours or undergo a PCR test upon arrival, after which you must remain in quarantine until you receive a negative result.
