More flights to Alicante from spring 2024

Good news for Belgian Spain lovers! British airline easyJet will open a new base at Alicante International Airport from spring 2024, allowing for more direct flights.

Lille

From Belgium, it is sadly not possible to fly directly to Alicante via easyJet, but not to worry: from Wednesday 1 May 2024, flights can indeed be booked from Lille. This has since been officially communicated by the British and it is even now possible to book flights from May.

West and East Flanders

Especially for travellers from West and East Flanders, this is an interesting new track. Indeed, Lille is an hour's drive from Ghent, the Belgian coast, Bruges, Aalst, ... Cities such as Kortrijk, Roeselare, Waregem are even within half an hour's drive or less. Every Wednesday and Saturday there are flights between Lille and Alicante and vice versa. Both morning and afternoon flights can be booked.

Ticket price

So in terms of price, you can already take the test now. Take a trip from 29 May to 5 June, for example. From €98 per person, you can already start your spring trip from Lille. We don't need to tell you that depending on school holidays and public holidays, this amount can increase.

Other cities too

Are you living or staying in Spain for longer periods and fancy a city trip from Alicante? Apart from Lille, the airline announced no fewer than eight new direct destinations to and from Alicante: Southampton, Newcastle, Belfast, Zurich, Prague, Lyon, Nantes and Nice.
